Jula He
Co-Founder & Co-Host
Jula is a student at the Toronto French School in the IBDP program. She is fascinated by the potential of technology and entrepreneurship to transform the food industry. From cellular agriculture to precision fermentation, she is delving into innovations that can reshape how we feed the world, and committed to addressing economic factors that contribute to inequality in food distribution. She is currently working on an AI-powered drone to tackle soil-borne diseases. Jula has also started a youth non-profit — The Food Society — raising awareness around hunger, food waste, and food system inefficiencies with over 5000 youths engaged through their events, social media, and initiatives.
Beatrice Milasan
Co-Founder & Co-Host
Beatrice is young STEM enthusiast and entrepreneur from Toronto, Canada, an alum at The Knowledge Society as well as a Fellow at the Villars Institute. She has written and published a research paper outlining her proposal for solving the solar radiation issue in space to make lunar habitation a possibility via the generation of an artificial magnetic field and is also is the owner of her own handmade jewelry brand.
Previously, Beatrice spoke at the largest tech conference in Europe at Web Summit Lisbon 2023 on renewable energy and youth leadership. She also gave a keynote talk at the 2024 Firehood Summit on the power of investing in female entrepreneurship and women-owned businesses.
